Children's Day

May 5 in most places is recognized as Cinco de Mayo, here in Korea, it is Children's Day. What does that mean??? Day off! Yesterday we had the day off to celebrate Children's Day. In most countries around the world this holiday is celebrated...on different days depending on the country, but most all in the Spring.
Here in Korea it is somewhat like Christmas...the kids get toys and a day of fun. I think it is a great holiday for kids, especially here in Korea, because their parent's take time out of their uber busy schedules to spend time with the most important things in their lives, their children.

The 8th is parent's day (there is no Mother's/Father's Day)
