Casa Bonita

I guess Casa Bonita was made popular or better well known by a South Park episode. The real restaurant is located here in Denver. Definitely not known for its amazing food...which it was not, the 15 year old cliff diver, dancing gorilla in costume, mariachi band and famous gun show were just a few of the events that took place in our 3 hours in Casa Bonita. After standing in line and placing your order much like a Disney restaurant, we walked through elaborate hallways and awesome decor to our table overlooking the lagoon.
Children running wild and very weak margaritas added to the fun. There is also two very small arcades, a magician, a puppet show, a characature artist, and a gift shop. Everyone over the age of two must order an entree...ranging around $12.

If you have children or are tourists this may be the place for you. If you have never been, you should check it out. The lower your expectations, the more fun you will have. Of course, you have to make your own fun as well.
