"Hen Party"

 

This weekend we went to Busan for a girls weekend/bachellorette party for mwah. There were 12 of us with a plan for fun. We met at 7:30 am at the bus station, hopped on a 8 am bus and landed in Busan by 11:30. After maneuvering the subway, we were in Haeundae by noon and went for burgers at Breeze Burn. Then,we parked ourselves at the beach for a day of relaxing, chatting and laughing.

After the beach, we loaded into 3 cabs and headed across town to our love motel, Hotel Mu, checked into our VIP suite with a pool table, double shower, hot tub and enough couches and room for all of us to fit. 

Once we were all dolled up and ready to rock and roll, we went to FN Tacos, had almost $300.00 worth of margartias and jellos shots...we had some fun and went to a bar down the street to play foozeball and dance.

We then moved on to Club Maktum which was the darkest base driven bang bang club I have ever been to. We were all given green lazers to wear on our fingers like rings and danced danced danced. Of course I have to skimp on the details because What Happens in Busan, Stays in Busan, but we had a blast.

Back to the hotel we went, crashed woke up the next day, some of us more functional than others and we toured around Busan for the day...hit the bus station and headed back. 

 

It was such a great time and I am so happy that the friends I have met this year came with...it was very special. It was also very special to me that my two close Korean friends came with us. The culture really doesn't let their children, regardless of their age leave the house overnight, especially with us wild foreigners. Only 3 of the 10 I work with were able to come, but I know they had a blast and the night was more special because they did come.
